RIDE FOR A CAUSE JANUARY 2008

Tiwala has been inspired by a group of young ‘bikers’ with hearts of gold! In January 2008 ‘Tahao Road Boys & Girls’ decided to join Tiwala in conducting a feeding programme at Tiwala Farm. The group brought a truckload of food, used clothing and sacks of rice into our mountain village. After spending time with very excited children, the group provided lunch for 28 families in our village, then handed out sacks of rice and packages of clean used clothing for each family.

It was the first mission for our biker friends, and they anticipate having many such programmes this year, including medical missions as many of their members are doctors and nurses. Tiwala looks forward to partnering with ‘TRBG Ride for a Cause’ in the future.
